This poem is about YOU…

They are keeping the working classes segregated,

So that the rich can stay elevated,

YOU are all the same forget race and sexuality,

YOU have one thing in common that is a reality,

That one thing is that they think YOU are scum,

They’ve trampled on YOU so much that you’re starting to feel numb,

YOU are in the way and YOU cost them taxes,

So they continue to hit YOU with their roman like axes,

There’s no ‘middle class majority’ YOU are the masses,

YOU are the ones that return from wars in caskets,

Your communities have been ripped apart,

And hit with one massive Conservative dart,

I don’t believe in Evil but Blair’s the exception,

The average man lost his voice in the 97 election,

They patronize YOU with their Etonian ways,

And now you believe nothing the Primeminister says,

They have labelled YOU theifs, chavs and cheats,

So that YOU begin to dislike one another,

They have succeeded for now,

The poor have turned against eachother.

More and more people are starting to finally see whats going on in our society, people in this reality tv generation are finally starting to ask the questions that matter, and no that is not that about the latest sale on at top man or the weekends football scores. It’s about time we had another revolution and in this blog I am going to talk about just that.

The media make these sorts of revolutions look as unattractive as possible to us, why? Because the people in the media are the people on top and they want to stay there. To stay there they must repress us and keep us lower classes quiet, let’s face it theres a lot of us and on the rare occasion we get together we can become quite disruptive.

We’ve had quite a few examples of us lower classes pulling together in the past. The hippies in the 60s, almost brought Britain on the verge of socialism and would have acheived it had it not been for thatcher. Then we had the punks, so much of their philosophy and what they stood for is still relevant in today’s society.

Okay, listen up because this is the most important part of this text. We are due another revolution, it’s been far too long since we spoke up. I’ve noticed a lot of people on here are getting sick of being repressed, but too many people in this reality tv generation have been brainwashed by the media and are generally dumbed down by society. It’s because the ruling class are scared of the next revolution working. We’ve lost our creativity, the difference between us and the punks is that we are more materialistic, we genuinely believe now that things like reality tv, sports etc are the most important things in life, wrong! The most important thing in life is fighting people’s ignorance, standing up to people that treat us unfairly, creating a democracy in which we are all equal and a world where our political leaders represent us but do not dictate to us! These people are taking advantage of their power, and they are dumbing us down so that we don’t have the creativity or brains to fight this.

There are a million and one ways how we could do this, how we could go about it! We have social networking at our disposal, blogging and the Internet allows us to all stand together and communicate with anyone from any part of the globe without even leaving our homes, think about how effective that could be? Capitalism allows these things to become at our disposal, this is why I’m socialist, not communist, because we can use their apparatus in our revolution!

C’mon people, let’s speak up!

Tories are a danger to the UK
Under the current Tory government it once again has been typical tory behaviour, the poor get poorer and the rich get richer. The gap between rich and poor is now getting wider again and we have seen the consequences of this, mostly via rioting and social disruption as this is the only way the lower classes in this country can be heard. The most recent example was the ’ Pasty Tax ’ we’ve fell for it yet again,  it seems to be that the areas where the cuts are hitting most is the ones which affect the prices involving the lower classes, after all it was pretty clear that David Cameron does not eat pasties very often, hes more likely to eat caviare which is something that wasn’t taxed but something that would have earned the government much more money than barely 2 pence they will make from a cheap pasty.
The fact is that David Cameron won’t win the next election, so he wants to suck as much of those beneficial services that have been given to the people in this country that really need it, and give it back to the rich and the tory system thrives on repression of some. I’m not usually as blunt as this in my blog posts, but this is a blunt issue, and quite frankly the subject is that because the tories and their voters alike do not use services such as the NHS ( probably the best service England has ever produced ) they do not see why they should fund them, as it doesn’t benefit them and they do not use it, its a dog eat dog mindset and quite frankly if you cant afford to pay for things like your own healthcare, its your own problem, you wont be looked after by the government, deal with it.
The problem is that the people in this country have nothing in common with its political leaders, they don’t represent us. They are the few not the many, but in a country which is so severely judged on background, it is the root of so many decision made by people who are not the right people to make them. As for the rise of crime in this country, the problem is an underlying one and because of our attitude of punishment equally justice being done we simply ignore the real problems and causes of rates of crimes. The problems are social ones, and it is not very hard to understand what these problems are, people wouldn’t steal if they were allowed to get a job that pays a fair amount where they can purchase their own goods, people who commit crimes are mostly the working classes to the working classes, and it is because of how deprived they have become, there are underlying problems that need to be addressed and people like David Cameron do not have the answer.

Dont be a run of the mill character
Our cities don’t have to be grey, did you know this? We don’t have to be part of a run of the mill system where we live to work, did you know this? Our ancestors once lived happy lives before the internet, before tv, back when they had to create their own fun and food being put on the table was not always a guarantee. However, what astonishes me is that the youth of today sit inside on their laptops trying to find the creativity to write a status other than ” I’m bored “. We are all so bored, we have the opportunity to do anything, although opportunity in our fast moving world today means to have a good job, to be successful means to be famous or to be rich.
However, what kind of price can be put on the natural world and all its beauty? We’ve built on that now, we’ve covered it up, we’ve hidden all the green with grey and gloom. Our bricks cover grass, our buildings cover mountains, our sea is ruined with the pollution of oil. Even the most successful person in life spends over half of the hours they will spend on this planet in their lifetime in the work place, and now with mobile phones and how serious it is all taken, you are never a call away from work and even in your spare time you spend it recovering from tiredness of work, and thinking about work, many of us on weekends even work then too! We have a profit driven mindset, spending time with the family doesn’t seem to matter when you have a big house to live in, spending time with your children comes before work because after all you need to make money because what are time and love when you can buy your child the latest games console where they will sit in their room away from the family, not communicating, or going outside and seeing what is left of our beautiful world?
I’m trying to tell you that money isn’t the most important thing, in the end every man has only one thing, memories. Of course it is great to achieve things, I myself am at University studying a degree, but we live in a world were we judge on looks, where a CV describes a personality, where we don’t communicate anymore, where we have lost our creativity due to a lack of confidence and belief in ourselves. We are scared to be ourselves, the most important thing is to fit in and not be noticed.
We are led to have a false sense of happiness, we have pointless interests like anaylising football in too much detail or seeing who is next kicked off the x Factor. Turn Facebook off, go outside, develop a hobby that involves spending time with other people and socializing, build something random, don’t play a sport invent your own, instead of working this weekend spend time with your children and loved ones, if you can’t afford your rent go and live in the forest and hunt for your food, the world is yours walk somewhere rather than driving, enjoy it for what it is and stop ruining it.

The Capitalist Bottle Neck Sequence
We have not achieved Capitalism yet and it is already this bad, the shift of money hasn’t shifted, therefore we do not have a FREE Market. It isn’t a free market for the simple reason, money has not exchanged hands, the rich tend to be the same individual families they were 150 years ago. Money is what equal opportunity and once a family obtains money, it can ensure future wealth and job opportunities for many people born into the family to come. This is the problem with the ruling class, many of them are rich because of what their ancestors did, not what they did. Therefore their families businesses are still too big for small businesses to compete with, because they have already grown so large and their legacy is left behind after them. We have a ruling class making decisions who do not have the creativity and brains to make these decisions, they are where they are because they were those kids in class who put their hands up to answer quickest, this does not make them the best people to make decisions. To stay in their position they support those above them, this is like a bottle neck sequence as those below them support them too, regardless of whether they agree or disagree just to quite simply, stay in their positions. so everybody is supported by the person below so that they too will be supported, so they all stay as one in their positions acting in their own self interest, when really the bottle neck sequence should be filled with those who have proven themselves worthy of these positions. However it is impossible for people to prove themselves worthy as you cannot compete with such a well supported structure, it would be trying to knock down the pyramid of Giza with a hammer.
This dog eat dog nature has been instilled by Capitalism, we are led to believe that it is human nature to want, to act in self interest but it is not, it is a mindset that Capitalism has put in place. For if we did not have luxuries and monopolies we would not have a need, there can be no demand if a product or service is not created, we survived perfectly well before the inventions in a materialistic world. So referring back to the bottle neck sequence, Marx stated that for Communism to be achieved the working class would have to form a workers system to defeat the Capitalist class so that there would be no class system left. This is an example of the lower classes supporting each other like a bottle neck sequence but to defeat the opposing corrupt capitalist system we would need to build our own bottle neck sequence in the proper way, by allowing people to prove themselves worthy of being in position rather than acting in the self interest, so that we have the best individuals to do the job, but not working as individuals but as a party.

Don’t let Capitalism tell you what you want!
Pop Culture is a key part of Capitalism and its destroying us and even that is an understatement. TV, the media and other sources physically tell us what to ‘like’. Take Christmas this year for example, most people will go out rushing round last minute trying to find the new overly expensive toy because everybody wants it. The funny thing is, how can everybody be interested in the same thing we’re all individuals? It is extremely worrying that we all suddenly want the same thing, our children only want it because other children do, this is an example of the power Capitalism can have over our minds.
TV these days is filled with reality tv, the X Factor! This has single handedly destroyed entertainment, because we all buy into it and watch it nobody wants to be on TV at the same time as it because they simply wont be watched. And for what? X Factor, a show that gives thousands of people false hope and only one eventual winner, who then will fade away after their Christmas number one, because they’re only a product for Simon Cowell to make money from, they’re not treated as human beings, in the meantime thousands of others will be humiliated in public all because they weren’t as good as they thought they we’re. Humour never used to be about laughing at others but rather, laughing with others, again, Capitalism.
We live in a society were we believe to be successful in life you have to earn money, be a professional, own a business or become famous. Remember, to be successful in life, is to do something that makes YOU happy, not what you think should make you happy because thats just what we are told. Surely the true successes in life should be those who helps others, those who actually do something for society, those who fight our wars? Oh and that’s another thing, the ones who fight our wars are ONLY the lower classes, we are just a pawn in the ruling class and politicians game. The media brainwash us that as a lower class we cannot acheive things, it turns us against eachother, because after all this is what Capitalism thrives on, REPRESSION.
SPEAK UP!

CAPITALISM THRIVES ON REPRESSION!
In a Capitalist society there has to be a social class, people have to be made worse off to make others better off. Surely it is wrong that we have the technology now to send a message from one side of the world to the other in the click of a button in a second yet we still can’t stop starvation and poverty. This is because big corporations grow and we buy into them and force small businesses out of business totally and this puts millions out of jobs. When was the last time you seen your local butchers? about 40 years ago there was numerous amounts in my city, now there is just one on the back counter in my local supermarket. 150 years ago there was a couple of thousand cars on the planet, now there are 501 million destroying the ozone layer..surely this Capitalist ideology has already grown too powerful and gotten out of control.
The Problem in a capatlist society is that everything revolves around profit, a business can only be seen as good by the government so long as it creates jobs and brings in money to the economy and pays its tax to the government it can only be seen as a good thing! No matter how much it is affecting people, especially those companies who thrive on the people in 3rd world countries working long hours to earn wages well below the poverty line. This has to stop! We need to fight it with a new political ideology!
